Hi plant lover! My name is Kelly and I am the owner of KAC Exotic Plant Collective and I started this business by accident! I started collecting plants about 10 years ago and my house was quickly overrun. I began selling in February of 2024, as a way to swap out and up my collection through Whatnot. I quickly became addicted to not only buying new plants but selling them as well. I have slowly expanded into other platforms/apps and now I am hoping to bring my sales directly to buyers.

I am a self-proclaimed lazy plant parent! I love Monsteras and Philodendrons because they don’t die if I do not water them for a week. I love a beautiful handmade/hand-painted decorative pot, but I am a root micro-manager and enjoy a clear pot so I can see those roots! I use self-watering pots whenever I can and soil-less substrates for my personal collection.

As much as I love my little business, it is not my full-time job. I run this business out of my house in southern NH, a single mom to a crazy 6-year-old boy, Parker, and I work as a project manager for a standards organization. I am a one-person business and try to respond as soon as possible to requests.
